Paul Metsa has a great chat with MN Senate Candidate Richard Painter and his wife Karen (also a professor at the U of MN.) They chatted about how they met, when they married, and moving around the country settling in to different jobs as they started raising a family. Karen teaches musicology and she spoke about the courses she offers, what she is studying, and sitting next to Angela Merkel at a Wagner Opera in Germany. They are a lovely couple, and I am dubbing them "The Ozzie and Harriet" of the Progressive Movement. Cool folks!
